The Santa Clara County Interbranch Council (IBC) is a 501(c)(4) organization which represents the seven Santa Clara County AAUW branches and encourages their interaction, communication, and collaboration.

Each branch designates one member as a representative to the IBC, which meets five times a year. The Council sponsors county-wide events such as the January, 2017 panel program “Women Changing The World,” organizes the yearly Ice Cream Social for Tech Trek girls, and offers a leadership training day for all branch members. AAUW CA assigns a liaison to the IBC to offer advice when needed and to help arrange a yearly training day for the IBC and branch members.
