Who are these smiling women? Each of them received scholarships from AAUW San Jose last year to help them complete their four-year degrees. In May, 2015 recipients received $30,000 in scholarships. In the fall, seven of our recipients will be at SJSU; two at UC Santa Cruz, two at UC Davis, one finishing at San Francisco State, and one finishing at CAL State East Bay. Their career goals are probation officer, dentist, Spanish teacher, education counselor, economist, occupational therapist, business, non profit management, accountant, biochemist, and a medical doctor.
